Do you remember the days when Yahoo was just being born?
When it was really the first 'portal' on the internet.

just about every monkey and his family was trying to create a 'portal' at that time. It was really long before the dot com boom, and LONG before the dot bomb.

I am talking '94 people (ok, maybe 95)

None of the ridiculous IPO's were happening yet.

one site, one of the first humor, tongue in cheek, didn't really care portals that i found was

if you couldn't figure it out, it told you.
the title was, My Left Ass Cheek is a portal

well now, it is a prescription drug site.

yeah, type in the address, and you get some spammers web site.

I hate spam (both the canned meat products and the unsolicited email)
i hate it a lot. and it really depresses me, that this portal, is no longer.

oh well.
guess that IPO didn't work out, did it ;)
